Examples of Non-gender-conforming persons by today's standards include:
Jacob (Israel), who was smooth-skinned and preferred to be with his mother doing domestic tasks, while his brother Esau was rough and the outdoors hunting type. (Genesis Chapter 25)
In Judges Chapters 4 and 5 Deborah is a judge of Israel, a prophet, and a military leader, highly uncommon for her era.
The man doing women's work: Jesus told them to look for the "man carrying a water jar" in public. (Luke 22:10)
Notice the house where the Eucharist is given (called the Last Supper by many) has a male host, but there is no mention of a wife or children. Wives and children have important roles in the Passover Seder. (Mark 14:12-16)
Also, the afternoon of the Resurrection Jesus walks with two men. He arrives at their house and they prepare a meal for him. Again, that would have been women's work, but again there is no mention of women or children in the narrative. (Luke 24:13-35)
